I've got a few possibly so far

Super Mario bros 3 custom arcade
New cab and art, original NES console
    CRT screen
    image.jpg

Also will have a Xenon, working, nice

    And an NOS Xenon playfield

    Edit: all sold

    #9 7 years ago

Wanted at TPF: Quicksilver or Dragonfist, either with a clear coated playfield and restored cabinet preferred (and would pay a premium price for a premium restored example of either if they are for sale).

That is pretty awesome. If I had a place for it I would be tempted. SM3 is my all time favorite console game.

Dragonfist is evil! Evil Evil Evil! I was terrified everytime the ball left the flipper that it was coming right back down the drain. That game hates me.

My games will likely stay put but anything is possible. T2 could be for sale (Sold) if I got a SM Red or GoT Pro at a price I can't refuse. TZ could be for sale if I get a fully restored Addams at a price I can't refuse. As it stands I'm having a blast still with both of my games so any changes would have to be for compelling opportunities.

    4 sale:

    South Park,
    Space invaders,
    Simpsons party pinball

    #14 7 years ago

    For Sale:

    Game Show
    Close Encounters
    Charlies Angles
    Pinball Pool

    #15 7 years ago

Any of these could make it.

    Aladdin's Castle (Sold)
    Pro Football (Gottlieb wedge head)
    The Getaway (Just Sold)
    Xenon (Just Sold)
    KISS (Bally) (Sold)
    Gorgar (Just Sold)

Edit... Since I posted this, pretty much everything is gone.
    Seems people want machines fast.

I might bring my Tee'd Off this year. It's a long way to haul it though so will see. It's a super nice example.

    #17 7 years ago

I may be looking for a Diner. Trying to decide between it, Funhouse, STTNG or TAF.

    #18 7 years ago

If my tricked out Tron does not sell by then I will be bringing it. Chrome armor, all of the mods etc.

    #19 7 years ago

If anyone has a Slugfest please let me know if you plan to bring it.

I'm thinking of selling either my BSD or WH20 this year. Both have made multiple appearances at the show and both have won several ribbons/trophies. We'll see.

    I agree with Chris...

I am probably grasping at straws here, but is anybody interested in trading their Kiss Pro for my Ironman VE? Nice IM with shaker and speaker lights...

    #25 7 years ago

You need to talk to labnip. He's local and has a TSPP for sale (post 13).

    #26 7 years ago

I don't know if I'll be bringing a game this year, or even if I'll make it at all. But if I do, I'm at least bringing a TOTAN CPR Gold class playfield for the swap meet.

HA! Just looked it up...20 hour drive one way from my house...that's not a road trip ...that's an Oregon Trail video game!

would anyone be interested in a WPT? image.jpeg

    #30 7 years ago

Serious quesiton... Is this how it works in Texas for the pinball market?

Lots of fishing, no prices, wishy washy FS posting?

I only ask since I am traveling to TPF and this is the only show I have ever see a "maybe" for sale thread. Most of the other shows seem to start up a thread an post actual games for sale with actual prices. Everything in here so far seems very tentative and more like "for sale if you offer me enough"??? reminds me of a Neo FS post

I would need to figure out soon if I am driving or flying and would like to bring something back if I am driving but no interested in tossing out offers with just 'maybe' FS sellers.

Usually, if you check the TPF website, the games list has notes on the ones for sale. That's a better indicator. Also, it's still 4 months until TPF. A lot can change in 4 months. I have half the collection I did 4 months ago. I think that this thread will be better the closer we get to showtime.

You should have read the thread title closer before coming in I guess if this is upsetting to you. This is the "maybe" for sale thread. Meaning it's a bunch of people that are considering selling games but may have not made up their mind if they are going to do so. I will never commit to something that I can't guarantee that I will come through on that commitment.

For me specifically - BTW and I are restoring a Xenon. If we complete it in time and the restore is satisfactory to the both of us we have both agreed to take it to the festival and to put it for sale with an actual price attached to it. Right now, we are only halfway through the restore so I can not make a 100% guarantee it will be done nor can I provide a price as we have not finalized on the level of restore that will be done on a few items thus why I felt comfortable posting in a "maybe" for sale thread.

In general. If you want to buy a game go super early and bring a game to get in. History has shown all the good deals generally go down before the show even open and you have to be a vendor/exhibitor to get in that early. After the show starts you may find one or two good deals but most games are overpriced and fishing at that point.

If there is a game listed that you want then just ask how much and if someone wants to make a deal prior to the event of which you can pick up the game. Easy enough.

This is exactly why you *should* toss out some offers, because this discussion thread is supposed to help you figure out if you are driving or flying based upon what isn't committed to the show, but could be brought, if the interest was there.

TPF has a lot of games but that's just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what could actually be present. Hence, discussion thread.

I would like to upgrade my Mustang pro for an LE at the TPF. If you are interested in this trade or have the connections to arrange a purchase of my machine so I can buy your LE, that is also fine. I prefer not to sell without the option of getting the LE. I'm not looking for a premium. Please feel free to PM me with your ideas etc.

My game is very nice. Speaker light kit, back box light kit, cliffys, custom car, tach mod, additional cars. It has one small ding on the left backbox shown in super high res for all super anal collectors. It's been in storage since I packed it up at the end of the last TPF, awaiting my new game room.

You are looking for an LE owner to trade down? Or for an LE seller to also find a pro buyer for you?
    Fingers crossed for you.

Pretty much. I'm willing to buy/sell etc, but I'd like to knock it out all at once. I know its a long shot, but why not ask? This is the place to put it out there.

OK, then I guess I can just flip it the other way since nothing I currently have seen that I am interested in making an offer on.

I am interested in buying a Dr Who, DH, TS, BSD, the list continues, etc... Basically looking for another Bally or Williams B or Clist game for a fair price. I dont care about cabinet blems so long as structurally sound. I do care that pf is not completely roached or worn to wood. I can repair most things so as long as price matches condition, I am interested.

If anyone is maybe selling anything that fits the bill and would like to work out a deal soon then please send me a message.

I'm interested in a nice example of 8 ball deluxe. (Found)

    #43 7 years ago

Posting to keep an eye on things...

    #44 7 years ago

I'm interested in buying a Bally Balls-A-Poppin, Cosmos, Alligator or any 2" Bally zipper flipper. Prefer working games.

I am looking for a Japanese Candy Cab arcade cabinet. I am not sure if anybody has brought on in the past, but I am in the market for one. There were a couple at ReplayFX this year, so maybe there will be one at TPF for sale.

So I've never been to Texas pinball festival before. How is buying set up? Do the machines set up have prices if they're for sale or is there a special area for the ones that are for sell? Or is it an auction? Thanks for the heads up
