4 hands is local. They've been teaming up with local barcade in the area.

I believe Doom is the same one that made Deadpin

Dialed in always had lines, even early in the day (even with 5 games). Also pinball magazine selfies

Quoted from dmbjunky:

I went last year for the first time and was disappointed with the game room and the lack of some games rumored to show that didn't make it.

Game room this year looked like a big success. Seems the new guy was really able to bring in some good games. Last year there were just a handful of DMDs.

Last year was a joke. Freeplay area was basically full of games. Someone even brought a couple spanish Taito pins (one of them was polar explorer)

Quoted from labnip:

Quoted from KingBW:

The VFW show in Ann Arbor, MI in May has 350+ different games kept in great shape

I love the VFW, it's a different show. If you just want to play a ton of pinball from every era, without terrible crowds (because ticket count is controlled), absolutely a great show. Part of the fun of expo is that it's typically a show where the latest titles are revealed for the first time (as shown by JJP, Heighway, Stern, American Pinball *cough cough*), not to mention a huge homebrew section that just keeps getting bigger every year.
