We are back for the 2016 edition of the Northwest Pinball Championships, presented by Beneficial Malfunction, the Pacific Northwest's very own world-class pinball competition!

We will come back to our new location, Lucky Strike Bowling in Bellevue on September 16-18th with improvements based on last year players' feedback (Food, schedule...)!

100% of the money is paid back to the players as prize, including the generous contributions from our sponsors, over $8,000 were paid out as prize last year!
    http://www.bdivision.com/

We have changed the number of qualifiers for the Open finals this year, the TOP 24 QUALIFIERS will move onto to the main Open finals on Sunday (also the TOP 8 will get a BYE). Based on feedbacks, we have merged the B divison to the main tournament so more people can make it to the Open finals and compete for the grand prize!

The Northwest Pinball Championships is open to players of all skill levels and ages. It is a multi-day qualifying tournament followed by a day of finals. During qualifying on Friday and Saturday players purchase tickets to play individual games on the tournament machines (HERB Style). Players may purchase as many tickets as they like but there will be lots of opportunities for free tickets (Volunteering, pre-tournaments...)
    Same great price as always, 1 ticket = $3 or 4 tickets = $10 (8 for $20)

Each player's best score on each machine in their division of play is tracked in a computer and those scores are ranked against all of the other competitor's scores on that machine. Players then receive an aggregate of their machine rankings to determine their overall qualifying position in their division. At the end of qualifying, the top 24 finishers for the Open and top 16 for Classics division will be eligible for the finals on Sunday.

As usual, there are two main divisions of play: Open and Classics. Qualifying will run from noon-midnight on Friday and 10AM-midnight on Saturday, with finals on Sunday. The top 24 for Open and top 16 for classic players will move on to the finals, and the 4 top-finishing women in the Open division are additionally eligible to play in the Women's Championship finals!

Anyone making it to a final on Sunday will get cash prizes!

There will also be several side tournament and activities; daily high scores, including charity drive, split flipper tournament, swag raffles and more...!

    See you there!
