Great pictures,
First game I have brought to a show. It got a serious workout, 500+ plays. Would have been a lot more if a ball did not get stuck at the top left edge of the play-field on Sat morning. What this taught me is that the rubber rebound edging needs to be the full length of the side. I cut 1" of each end when restoring as I wanted to keep the original green rubber. That caused the ball trapping issue. I will contact Scott Webb to get that replaced.
I think I am happy that my baby was 'rested for a few hours'. It was very busy on Saturday and I just wonder what the other games must have clocked up over 1,000 plays perhaps?
How bout that little Demolition Derby!! I see it caught your eye.. that was my little side project that I had picked up and restored just for fun and an entry for my son for the expo that weekend ...I hand painted back about 70% of that checkerboard on the plunger lane and in several other worn areas on the playfield. Topped it with 3 coats of clear new bulbs, rubbers , caps and a ball. I dont know why it was off Im guessing due to no more plugs and the game doesn't really scream PLAY ME sitting next to all the expensive machines that were there. I gave $40 for it about 8 months ago.. and actually just sold it yesterday for $140...so it was a win win for me!
