Frankly, I never want a pin this early in the run. I'm in on TH, but I'll gladly wait a couple months if it means they resolve whatever crops up as these hit the streets.

In a similar situation, I know I'll get one of the first P3 machines that hit the streets and it makes me really nervous for the same reasons.

Apparently I have not been paying too close of attention, but when was it decided to go with stainless wireforms? Has anyone that's seen the current game in person feel this impacts the aesthetic as compared to the powdered rails from earlier versions?

Quoted from Bobby:

Anyone know about "thicker/glossier decals on the SE? Heard it was a $400 up charge. Is it worth it?
Thanks,
Bob

Quoted from flipnout1:

The decals are called Rad-Cal and indeed are a $400 upcharge. They are thicker and glossier and can be added at the time you order the game. I have LE allocations available if you are interested. Only you can decide if they are worth it. They are pretty impressive to see if person.

Search the forum and you can find many pictures of these. I've seen them and I'm somewhere between "don't like them" and "not worth it" ESPECIALLY at $400. To me, even if you like them better, they're way too damn glossy. And given the game will be in a row of games for most people, I don't know why many people would get these.
