Car repairs complete, half loaded now. Looks like we'll arrive in time for dinner and traffic. Ugh!! I was hoping to avoid that.
Just found this from two years ago. Wish I still had the WH2O. I made a mistake selling that one, I think. I still have Freddy's hat on the floorboard of my truck, though. Maybe I should clean sometime soon!.

I should be there tonight after work. Hopefully everything got loaded from The Preserve, so I will be mostly a free resource to help out.
Unfortunately, I have to work on Friday as well 
so I won't be there until after work + rush hour traffic + construction delays.

I rebuilt all the flippers last week, installed new balls and waxed the shit out of it. I hope I have no problems with it as it's been a really great player since I picked it up. I was asked to have it in the tournament area but since it's the only one, I'd rather everyone be able to play it. We're going to have an impressive ColorDMD lineup!
Marcus- can you elaborate on how tournament players should specify whether a game is for a side tournament or the main tournament, or do games played count for both?
Also- just looking things over now, but $60 per day seems pretty steep for five hours "unlimited qualifying", will you be accepting normal tickets during that period? $60 only breaks even if you can average about 10 minutes per game including waiting, which doesn't seem likely with other people also attempting to do the same thing.
GSRogers, I hate to quote you but you are right. However, people wanting free happens in any paying event one does. The "free admission if you bring a game" is what needs to be addressed. Bring 10 games and get 10 free passes?....hmmm If so then there isn't a problem.
IMO a guest list is more appropriate. Some events do "no guest list" after a certain time. That way you can get the bodies in the space so it won't look empty.

I sure did, well, if you call my pathetic score "playing" it. What a beautiful pin. Playfield is like a HEP. It was great to meet you, labnip, Way2Wyrd and The Law. Also Pavlaw. TigerLaw was nowhere to be found, but I kept looking for him. Also a few other pinsiders from Texas whose I'd's escape me.
I had a flight out of Intercontinental at 5 so I could barely stay for two hours. What a great show and people! A traditional photo of the site along with my usual VW Beetle rental car. Also played a Bally Twin Joker for the first time. I've seen many not set up for sale, but have never played one before.
I'm back home in Michigan thanks to Delta Airlines.
