I put in a order for an LE today. Jen wrote me almost right away to let me know I would be looking at a May/June ship date.

Quoted from Pimp77:LOL, I'll believe it when I see it.
oh I know, I'm highly skeptical
How many machines can JJ do in a week when fully running? I hear Stern has the capacity to do about a 100 a day in their newer space.
In TSPP the right upper flipper has 2 shots; the tree-house ramp, and two shots I consider one: CBG and Kwik e mart (aka missed ramp shots). On Hobbit I see 4 drop targets (with three standing targets behind), a vuk shot, and maybe even a shot to the newton ball. Sure these can be hit by the lower flips, but having an extra option is just fine by me. It may be that it's also utilized for more timed shots coming out of the orbit/pops, though it doesn't have to in order for me to care.
Quoted from Whysnow:Sorry, but when jjp wants to come and tell us all how amazing the game is while being condescending to potential customers, this is a very valid question. I love what i have seen and heard, but honestly have not given it real attention for months since it STILL is nowhere to be found. It really is a serious question, when can someone actually buy and get hobbit? How far away for all this hype being reality for me if i want to buy and put it on route?
You can buy one right now. However, there's a line to get one. Customer production is starting in January, I guess people can question that, but the fact they are telling everyone this seems to be true. I was told my particular game would likely be done sometime in May/Jun based upon current time tables. Though they said this could change to be either sooner or later. I don't mind waiting a bit as I just put an order in, but I'm also not out all that money until my machine is actually ready.
Quoted from kaneda:The good news about Hobbit is the innovation it brings is still years ahead of what STERN is producing. There's no denying when you put a JJP machine next to a STERN it looks like a Mercedes next to a Chevy.
Exactly, and that's why I don't mind the wait. Granted I waited a very long time to see how the game would shape up to even think about buying it.
Quoted from TomGWI:I don't know What they are considering as complete or do they mean ready to ship.
I asked this question, They mean when your particular game is complete and ready to ship.
