I was really quite happy to see this thread started, and then really disappointed, (but unfortunately not surprised) that the usual bunch of trolls couldn't stay out of it.

Constructive criticism is fine and welcome, but the relentless negativity has no place. The fact that they can't seem to understand the difference is just plain sad.

It's Jacks private forum, he has every right to moderate it as he sees fit. If he over-reacted or made and error in banning the wrong person, that's unfortunate, but not exactly the end of the world. I believe Stern was doing the same awhile ago on their Facebook page if they didn't like what was being posted.

As far as all the preorder debate goes, for us in Canada, pre-paying has meant a major saving because of our falling dollar, absolutely no way would I be able to purchase a Hobbit or any of the other boutique games at today's exchange rate. Easily saved $2K+ over what it would cost me now. While the currency rates are obviously nothing to do with JJP, prepay made it possible in this case for me to get what is going to be an epic game!
