Nice job on starting this new thread, Panzer. Are you officially back in on the game?

Quoted from PanzerFreak:Yes! I just purchased my old spot back from a friend I sold it to. Smaug SE. Still debating on switching back to an LE but I really like the gold trim on the SE.
Nice work outta you! Like you, I had some doubts after the reveal at Expo, but this is shaping up to be an awesome pin. And I think the presentation at the Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show underscores the radical changes JJP made to TH. I played about 30 games or so at a Pinball Star event in March and was blown away by the art, sounds and speed of the gameplay. Good to hear you're back in the fold, Panzer!
At one point, I believe the button on the apron was to be used to fire the windlance. Not sure if that's the case anymore (though I might be wrong). Does anyone know how it will function during the gameplay?
Quoted from SilverBallz:is bringing two Hobbits too much to ask?
Quoted from TaTa:Seriously?!! Get a life already! Even if he did, you'd still be pissing about it trying to find something to complain about.
So true. There should be three Hobbits, dammit! It's the same people banging their pots and pans spewing the same tired rhetoric... sound and fury signifying nothing.
Quoted from MrBally:Heighway Pinball and Spooky Pinball have done it.
This isn't even a fair comparison. I played about a dozen games of AMH; fun, but a one trick pony - hit the ghost. Hit the ghost again. Yawn. And Full Throttle? If Hobbit is the aesthetic equivalent of a model culled from the pages of Maxim, Full Throttle looks like something I picked up circling the lot outside the club at 2 a.m.
Quoted from SilverBallz:and wtf are you talking about ...
Figurative language lost on you? The Hobbit is a visual marvel; Full Throttle is...well, ugly.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:And what the hell does my post about GOT rule sheet have to do with Hobbit criticism?
You're a whining and puling maggot. That's what.
Does anyone know if there is an option to upgrade to a plastic protector on Hobbit? Like many of you, I'm getting anxious as hell but this game is going to be truly epic!
Quoted from PinballSTAR:You should have been contacted by your distributor if you are in line... We contacted all our customers over the last 2/3 weeks got orders lined up for Rad Cal Decals and PF Protectors and Extra Smaug Head.
Thanks, Joe. I ordered direct from JJP - does that mean I should be getting a call from Jen?
What would you say is more intense - your disdain for JJP or homoerotic obsession with the bloat captain, Kirk?
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:Better than Weird Al
Weird Al is funny? Um, ok. That actually explains quite a bit.
On to real Hobbit news. Whenever production does begin, what is the sense of how many games JJP will be manufacturing per week? 50ish?
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:Oh my God....It's a box!!!!
They've assembled their first box!
I think it's time to post that same lame cartoon of the same lame superheroes you've already posted 50 times in roughly a dozen threads.
Quoted from McCune:The so called trolls , are the ones that usually tell the truth !
You're among the biggest in this thread, so I suppose you speak from experience. Here is what I want to know: why do you insist on putting a space between letters and marks of punctuation? It's cringe worthy. Proof your shit before posting, and tighten up your mechanics.
Thanks for posting the photos, KingPin. So based on what I'm seeing, it appears the LEs will be produced before the SEs. Not sure if anyone knows the order as far as production. Perhaps there will be a mix? Also, does anyone have an idea on how many games will (realistically) ship per week? I know Jack has said approximately ten per day or 50 per week, but that number seems a little high to me - though I certainly hope I'm wrong.
