Yeah, I was here, there, everywhere! And somebody left my car out front!

this car?

Outstanding show, absolutely outstanding. Stayed up playing until 4am Friday night into Saturday, especially that tricked out Addam's Family....and the Bride of Pinbot. WOW!

There were times when Medieval Madness and Theater of Magic were not being played. That'd never happen in Chicago or Milwaukee!

Discovered 3 machines that would be entertaining to own for general art and fun- Cyclone, Hurricane and Comet. Bravo.

then there were vids like 4 player Warlords and Reactor. mmmmm

Here are a couple more shots. Ate at Logan's Friday night then Pappadeux's BBQ Saturday night.

Mark, thanks very much for you, Walter, Billy, & Joel making the trip down here this past weekend! The panel discussion was fantastic! I could have listened to everyone's stories all weekend long!

Only thing that could have been better would have been to hit the Billion point shot...never got it lit.

Thanks for bringing this stellar machine to the show Erich! She is a real beauty

yah, that game really stood out. my goals were much simpler, never even got both eyeballs in the dang robot.

Watched Mark Henderson (Josh's Dad) systematically get to the final head panel, quite impressive fancy flippin.' fun stuff

I forgot about that BoP. It was a real beauty and really fun to play.

I think the cool thing about these shows is to play machines that you have never played before. I always seem drawn to the late 70's/ early 80's machines.

Had the chance to hang out with Dirty Donnie at the hotel bar for a few drinks. He's really cool...and a HUGE pinball guy. That Dude Abides!

The guy on the left in the middle wearing the red sweatshirt....is he the guy from The Matrix? I asked a couple of people at the show when I first saw him, and no one knew.

I agree....played a handful of games on Mata Hari and Black Pyramid...lots of fun

#361 9 years ago

That Black Pyramid is/was mine. Pretty fun for such a simple game. Hope the new owner likes her too.

I always try to play the games I never see down here in "no pins in the wild" land. On that note, SOME body seemed to have strategically placed that kick-ass Cactus Canyon where the cold wind would blow right up your skirt! That and it often reverted off of freeplay...

I saw this happen to several WPC machines. My STTNG fell victim twice, PinballManiac40's IJ once that I know of and the WH2O that was a machine or two down from CC. Maybe some low voltage resets playing hell with the saved settings? Power was pretty crappy on both sides of that wall

#364 9 years ago

Yup. I noticed it on the IJ too. BTW, those three WMS dotmation slots I roped myself into at the swapmeet? One of them is already up and playing...

Wow. Very Nice. What did you do to get it working?

#366 9 years ago

Between the three of them there were enough parts to get one of them up. A couple hours on the "Pinside" of slot machines helped a ton too. Lots of nice helpful folk there. I'd say less than $200 in parts I'll have all 3 up and running. Slot parts seem to be the opposite of pin parts. Not too hard to find and cheap!

I had a great time at the show this year. Met some new folks and hung out with some of yall. Got to work on a few EMs and get em running. (Some not for long lol )

The Swap meet was good and i judiciously held onto my wallet. That 1940 Mills slot and Bally Air Play almost got me tho

My top 3 machines were

1. Taxi. Just f#@cking beautiful I couldnt quit playing it
2. Bride of Pinbot deliciously sexy
3. Spot Pool. I dig woodrails.

Im ready for next year

Finally, after a week, I got 2 of my 5 machines setup after this fun weekend.
Looking forward to TPF in March.
