2 New Alternative Jurassic Park Translites

I was recently asked by a JP owner I did some work for if I could make him an alternative, and better, translite for his Jurassic Park game. So I came up with 2 designs.

I really like both of these designs and think they suit the game better than the standard sunset orange one. The guy I made these for only wanted one and has agreed to let me make them available to other people, so I'm thinking about doing a small run. If interested, let me know which version you would want?

I prefer #2 but with most of the alternate translites that I see...something feels off that makes it seem like a poster rather than a translite. I'm not sure why and I'm not sure what would make it look more like a translite to me. I guess I'd feel differently if the original translite was something awful like Jeff Goldblum's mug front and center like how Baywatch or Last Action Hero is done.

That's because it is a poster. He added in the JP logo and the DE on the arch, but I've got the same image as a 24x36 inch poster hanging in my JP room. I do like it as a translite though.

Has there been a price determined yet?

The production translite on this game is by far the best thing, artwork-wise, about the DE pinball machine. I like the original.

Well you could always just, ya know, keep your original and not put any alt translite in your game... maybe?

Curious what these are printed on. If it is just a plotter they need to be reverse printed on the back?

You will have to speak to Retro Refurbs about that. They have perfected the translite prints, and it's not like the usual cheap matt finished back-lit material other people are producing alternative translites on. These have a beautiful glossy finish which is more like the screened translites from early 90's games. They're thick and heavy too. Really nice.

Meh, Mayboyz has ran off with my translite. Funny how people are so fast to grab something they want but as soon as they get it they're no longer interested in you.
