If that's a game you like, I'd grab it. I have several of these cabinets with the risers. I'm more of a Defender, Lunar Lander, Pac-Man person so I have those and other similar era cabs.

Don't get sucked into the whole stupid 'these aren't as good as original dedicated cabs' or 'the controls are crap' baloney. You can always swap out a couple of joysticks for short money.

They are toys... Light weight which I love. They are not collectable dedicated cabs. Have fun with them. If it's a game you like I wouldn't hesitate.

Don't get me wrong... I'd own a dedicated Mad Planets cabinet in a second, but in the meantime these arcade1up games give you a great and immediate low cost arcade fix.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

No you wouldn't. Not only is that "real thing" over $3000 (I haven't checked the market lately), but it will be worth over $3,000 next week, or in a year. Or it will be worth more. And it's the real thing, will play correctly, will be fun.
The cheap imitation will be worth zero dollars in a week and will never play right.
No comparison. I keep hearing about - on every one of these - people complaining about the shitty controls. And you are trusting them to get the Star Wars controls right?

"Keep hearing about..." or have you actually played? My arcade1ups are fine for a nostalgia fix.

So I have a bunch of fun and if I loose $299 with zero return so f'ing what?

I want to play Quatumn tonight with a trackball because I'm an old screw and that's my thing versus all these stupid fighting games. Where am I going? Arcade1up

PS... I got no beef with you. Bought your fathom you bought down south 12 or so years ago...you're a good dude ... Just throwing in my 2 cents. And I've owned a lot of games. For the hardcore, just spent and a little bit more and swap out the controllers. It's low money nostalgia fun all day long
