I saw the bbh cab at ces before the show opened but then they hid it for the show.
You’ll be standing pretty close, so it won’t be too bad. But for ~$500-550 you get a bbh world mini. Not a bad deal but a lot of 1up owners want the clearance prices so we’ll see how well it sells
Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:The real deal BBH is supposed to arrive here Thursday. I went with Reloaded mini offline, and I have never even seen or played one, but the way some of my friends lit up, the same as when I mentioned Golden Tee and it gets played all the time, had to give it a try.
(and I went this way in part because my girlfriend does not think she could shoot at a pretty deer, but this has zombies and other stuff to shoot at also, and the fact if you get a cheaper one and have to pay 40.00 a month, that just adds up for something you do not own).
And I am a tad blind, so I hope I can actually even be able to enjoy it.

I had someone ask me to fix their 1up outrun. Odd issues. But from what I found out. the game was working at purchase (used), when moved home the unit had unresponsive wheel and pedals, but sound worked.
At the time I informed them to ask 1up support for any warranty work. 1up send a new control deck and pedal set.
When I arrived the new control deck and pedals were in, but buttons were flakey and wheel/pedals didn't work. I tried the firmware update, nothing (must of been done already) and then I tried to boot to the calibration menu but the start button didn't work. I ended up just unplugging everything. Reflowed legs/joints on the encoder. And then booted back into calibration mode with only the control deck plugged in. Worked. Then slowly added things in but audio still didn't work.
I swapped the old control deck in with only the on/off and volume in the encoder, on boot volume on the screen popped up but would never work. Thinking there is a issue on the cpu board. But he was happy the game functioned.
Has anyone run into this?
I worked on that "broken" outrun. I got it to work on site, then a few days later he said it stopped working again. Recognizing pedals/wheel. calibration doesn't fix it. Should I snag it and make it a racing cab? hmmmm outrub pcb isn't for sale on 1up site.
Quoted from arcademojo:I've done a couple. Let me tell ya. There is not a lot of meat on the wood monitor frame once you cut it out big enough to fit the monitor in. You definitely want to add a support bar running along the back using the visa mount on the monitor. But those 20" monitors make a huge difference!. Just got an request from a customer wanting a Mortal Kombat Legacy game converted to a Pandora Box playing 2800 games and 20" monitor. Ordered all parts and game today so will have pictures of how I mounted the monitor soon if you need them.
Ah! Perfect, which monitors fit well, they are the 20” 4:3? I wouldn’t think a 20” wide screen would fit well.
I also wanted to do a usb encoder for rhe outrun wheel, but most of the cheap encoders don’t do the analog (3 jst plug) and all the links I find from YT videos for them are broke :/ curious if the iPac hpak can do it…

I’ve heard it is fun! But I haven’t played one
Quoted from dapperdan24:I was unaware of this hack. Can you share information on how you set that up?
This is a full pc and encoder board setup. And 20” monitor.
I need to make a front end and add the other hydro Thunder games. But I wanted to get the encoder working with the stock control deck to make sure!

Quoted from dapperdan24:Nice! I'm in process with my new Atgames conversion, but I might have to figure that one out down the road. Looks great!
What are you doing on the conversion?
Here was the early test with the ultimarc apac

Using a launcher, I use project my screen, to show the windows phone version of hydro Thunder go on the main lcd. Controls still are on the phone for boost and jump, but with the phone attached to the wheel that provides the steering.
