Houdini is being dumped left and right for many valid reasons - avoid.
JJP pins have more parts than aircraft carriers - avoid.
Your over-analyzing your "first pin" a bit.
2 most important things:
1. Get a good, fun game.
2. Get one that's easy to resell, in case you do not like it or want something else.
Best option for you: Expand your budget and grab a Monster Bash Remake.
Fun for whole family - always someone who wants it when you're done.
