Williams Lady Luck, when a one point switch is hit it energizes the 1pt. Relay. The problem is it is not de-energizing. The relay is staying locked on. From that point all of the one point switches are inoperable. What should cause the 1pt. Relay to release?

There is an end of stroke switch on the associated score reel that should open to release the relay.

It appears that the coil on the drum unit does not activate strong enough to pull the armature in to up the EOS switch.

File, clean, and adjust the contacts on the relay and see if that remedies the situation.

Clean the relay switch contacts. I will often get EM games in that haven't been played in a while and this happens. I had a grand prix where EVERY point relay needed to be cleaned. After you clean the relays, manually push in and pull out the relay until it stops sticking. Once I did that the score reel relays stopped sticking.

Got the one pt switches working, now when I hit a Jet Bumper the game ends.

Most likely vibration related causing the game over or one of the other relays to trip. Hard to say without the machine in front of me.

Going crazy, jet bumpers now working but score motor won’t stop at start up. This is driving me nuts!

These are the switches that run the score motor. Next step is find out which one is running it.

I think a playfield sw. is sticking. Check everything that scores 1 pt.
