Hey all, I am helping a friend out with his recent purchase of a 1990 Data East Simpsons. I have never worked with Data East games extensively so I need your alls help! The back box GI won't light up at all but all of the flashers work just fine. Where should I start looking first? Thanks!

To Add: Are the displays supposed to be help up with an adhesive like tape? One of ours is slouching a bit. Thanks!

Quoted from amkoepfer:

I bet if you look at your power board, the top right connector is probably burnt. (Cant remember what number it is). Redo the connector. I think its 9 pin idc.

Ah, it doesn't appear burnt but it is unplugged, should I just plug it in?

Gotcha, does anyone have a picture of the connector so I know which way to stick it in?

Im at work so i cant get you a pic right now, but it should have a key in it so it should only go one way. Check the g.i. fuses too if that doesnt fix it, if those blow, you probably have a short

Awesome, thanks a bunch. I don't think this connector has a key, I'm afraid I'll get it wrong haha. Thanks again man
