I have the same machine with the rottendog mpu board like yours. I noticed they are very sensitive to voltages. so ya I would check your power supply board solder conections, and also its voltages.

Quoted from chrisram22:

Thanks for all the advise, when I press both flippers rapidly my game resets also. I have ordered
a power supply rebuild kit from BDE and will replace the caps as suggested.

make sure and do the 5 volt regulator if it does not come in the kit. I rebuilt my power supply and did not do the regulator, and the regulator went bad a week later and burned some chips on the rottendog board. not sure if it was related to rebuilding the power supply or not. Jim at rottendog fixed his board no charge , he's great.

many of my other issues were connector related. like balls not registering in the upper playfield trough where they get captured. in switch test they would register fine with a balls captured up top, but in game they would not. very strange but as I replaced a lot of my connectors problems like that went away. very time consuming changing all those plugs and connectors in the harness also.

that's how I did mine. I managed to get both wires in and then crimped and hit them with a touch of solder20150207_083808.jpg20150207_083808.jpg
