I followed Vid's guide - REBUILDING 1967-1979 FLIPPERS - rebuilding my Williams Flash flippers over the weekend. Everything went great but I had 1 question.

I had to order 2 new coils for the 2 right flippers since the metal coil sleeves would not come out of the old coils. Upon receiving the new coils and installing them (the yellow one pictured), I noticed that the original right side lower flipper coil I removed had 2 diodes and the new coil only has one. Everything is working great, but wondered if I should worry or move that diode to the new coil? Should I worry - anything going to get damaged etc.???
