Last week at Pin A Go Go we picked up this great 1979 Pinball Aficionado's Calendar from Rob & Don (the guys behind the Pinball Collectors Resource book)

It has interesting pinball trivia for just about every day of the year.

Today I finally started unpacking my purchases, opened up the calendar and thought today's tidbit was worth sharing with you, my fellow pinball aficionados. Monday May 22, 1979's entry said:

"May, 1977 Gottlieb's "Quick Draw" has the sensuous honor of sharing a "Playboy" Centerfold with a gorgeous bunny."

I'll save you the trouble of searching: [MODERATELY NSFW IMAGE BELOW]

I've gotta admit, I am really impressed with that pristine Quick Draw cabinet!

So, aficionados, what does tomorrow have in store for us??

I see your Quick Draw, and raise a Bow and Arrow

Best I can figure, the rest of the calendar isn't as exciting, Mike, so i've got nothing to follow your raise there.

But I could tell you that yesterday's post (May 21, 1979) celebrated the release of Gottlieb's "Jack in the Box" in 1973.

Alright, here is today's entry (May 23):

"Williams Electronics, Inc. introduced this date 1960, Serenade" (2). [The calendar notes (2) player vs (4) player for us Aficionados]

    May 24, 1979's entry:

"D.Gottlieb & Company introduced this month 1972 "King Rock" (4)."
