Yet anothe System 1, just wheeled it in. Looks complete, played once before freezing. My bucket list of system 1's is getting shorter...

I noticed these two curious things... two nails set against the rail guide, and the center post has been relocated.

I doubt I will use the original board assembly. I dont have great luck with them. This game would be a cantidate for a Pascal upgrade in my opinion.

Backglass needs attention, most likely a mylar...

And this I felt was worth sharing...

I have been limping along on the original boards, slowly fixing what i see, had to replace a connector pin and clean up some previous work. Two simultaneous digits in player 1 and 3 is out. Displays are verified, sounds like a board problem... of course.

One on the power supply. Solved the re-setting issue. I did check connectors on the displays also...

Displays are up... all digits working. Had to replace a display chip on the main board. Thank the System 1 Gods for the Blairally tech staff. (Shameless self promotion)

Replaced the miss-matched drop targets... red works i think.

Did a little sound board work, was missing a channel and mylar'ed the backglass...

Backglass has some loss but im completely satisfied. Total cost of game was low, I've cobbled parts together and its running on its rockwell boards.

I have noticed Mylar will do that during aplication if air is trapped under. It gets worse if you try to push the pockets of air out, I lance the mylar in areas to allow for escaping air.
