Anyone ever see this? In attract or game play mode the coin door lock out coils fire intermittently. During game play if the lock out coils fire, the flippers
give out. Has to be a ground problem I believe. Anyone know which connector it can be?

Sounds like a continuous solenoid problem. Connectors from mpu j4 to driver j4... super common for mpu j4 to get ate up by battery puke and driver j4 has cracked solder joints on the single sided pcbs without the plated through holes.

the solenoid driver section of the SDB board's 5v is isolated through a connector. If the 5v is dropping out from the solenoid side of the board it could be causing that effect. Check both driver board 5v test points when it is acting up. They should be equal or within a couple tenths of a volt. Consider doing the 5v mod to the driver board shown in guides. Its a dumb thing to isolate the 5v through a connector like that. Big Al said they had to do it for some kind loop hole in getting a safety certification.

Thanks for that info. I'll check into it.

Just an update. I re-seated J4 on the driver board and all is well. If it keep acting up, I'll re-pin the connector.
