I've restored many arcade machines but never a pinball machine. I decided to start with my Kiss Pinball machine. The cabinet was in really bad shape. I have a question though. I pulled the leg off my machine and found the original color. I had that color matched and I'm mid process painting my cabinet. I looked up other restorations and noticed that everyone else is painting a much brighter orange than I am. The "orange" color that I matched from my original is more of a red than a straight orange. Anyone?

When I repainted mine everyone suggested an industrial orange or something like that, I can't remember the exact term. I think it was Krylon though, got it at Home Depot, fairly common color. Looks pretty good. Yours does too though

I think I read somewhere that the perfect match for the orange was Allis Chalmers orange.

I used a grafitti proof paint as the base white paint. I can wipe the cabinet clean down to white again if I need to later. For now, I figure it's close enough.

That's what it was. Something industrial sounding.

Thanks. I was really concerned with the color because I saw everyone else painting orange. I thought I had missed something.
