Quoted from sgtgunner:I just picked up a 1978 Superman pinball. Everything functioned great for about two days, then the scoreboards just went out. I checked the fuses and all seemed okay - I replaced them anyways but still didn't work.
It is all of the scoreboard LEDs and 4 lights on the playfield that went out - I'm assuming they are connected somehow. I checked all of the wiring harnesses and they all seem tight with no loose connections.
I'm not sure where to look next - hoping someone can give me a few pointers. This is my first pin and am looking forward to restoring it.
I can provide pictures if that would help - just not sure what to take a picture of.
Thanks.
Does the game work otherwise? In other words do you get three balls, flipper action, pops, kickers and scoring noises, and then the game finishes up and the Game Over light comes on?
If not then something has gone wrong, start with my tips here:

After that post results and you may get some help. Tell us what you did and what the game does in response...
