    See total noob! Thanks KenLayton

I have replaced all of these still no bumpers or flippers working. The bumpers work momentarily when the reset is pushed. What next? KenLayton

And thank you for the asistance

For those coils, I'd say that 2.1 amp circuit breaker or the BR401 bridge rectifier are bad.

is it fine to replace the 2.1 circuit breaker with a 2.5 amp slo blo fuse? KenLayton

And as a temporary fix any reason why I couldn’t use this for the fuse replacement?

    Yes, it's close enough.

Yes, but the 12 gauge wire might be stiff to work with. Be sure you use the correct value of fuse!

KenLayton I bypassed the circuit breaker but only had a 2.0 amp fuse for my inline fuse holder. (Not enough amps I think) It promptly popped then I (maybe should not have )I eliminated the fuse/circuit breaker all together by tying the wires together . Everything on the machine worked perfectly . I removed “my repair” and plan to install a proper breaker set up. I hope this will fix it. I suppose the bridge rectifier could be what is causing the fuse/circuit breaker to pop but it checks with a multi-meter and I didn’t burn anything up when straight wired for a minute or so. I’m hoping a 2.5 amp fuse will be good. If that pops I guess I’ll change the bridge rectifier or what should I be looking for? All the coils seem fine and are working .

It sounds like the breaker itself is shot from metal fatigue and old age. You might need to try a 3 amp slo-blo fuse instead.

    #61 3 years ago

KenLayton thank you. Again. So a 3 amp fuse would be acceptable then.

    #62 3 years ago

I believe you'll be fine with that 3 amp slo-blo.

Sounds like your circuit breaker no longer holds a load.
