on the diagram inside the cabinet F2 (the solenoid fuse) is identified as 28 vdc 10 amp — but every thing i have looked up on the internet and the fuse 'sets' that are sold on Ebay and call for/come with 2.5A slo blo — are these interchangeable? Am i missing something?

The diagram inside the cabinet is probably correct.

Confirm by looking in the manual for the correct amperage of F2.

A 2.5 amp fuse will not work in place of a 10amp fuse, it will probably blow immediately.

F2 is the solenoid fuse, and 2.5A is the correct value. 10A fuse at playfield is for flippers only.

so just checking again - this is the diagram in the cabinet...

It is the solenoid fuse, but the diagrams 10A is incorrect. According to schematic, it is 2.5 amp.

Even with a 2.5a SB in there, sometimes coils can lock on and burn. 10a is def. too much though.
