we just bought this and it worked before we moved it home — the solenoid fuse kept blowing and then noticed this but not sure if this was like this before? these bottom resistors on the driver board look burnt? understand these might be responsible for the blanking needed at power on to not blow the solenoid fuse? we have no idea what we are doing and if our best bet is getting a pinball technician out - cool with that - just wanted to see if we are overlooking something simple before we spend more $ - thank you very much

Those resistors are underpowered from the factory and always burn like that. They need to be replaced with beefier 2 watt versions. They should not be the source of your solenoid fuse blowing however as they are in the lamp circuit.

Since you just moved the game I would check for any shorts on the solenoids themselves, perhaps a wire broke off a lug or is touching some metal it shouldn't be. You can make sure the issue is not on the driver board by removing the solenoid connectors on the driver board (left side of the board J9, J10, J11) and powering the game on. If the fuse still blows then you know it is an issue somewhere off the board.

thank you! yeah it seems to only happen when we turn the game off and on again but not alway - right now we are leaving it on and enjoying it... when we have time - will take the advice above and see what happens
