After seeing Wade Krause's just finished beautiful 1977 Jacks Open repro playfield (see pic below), I contacted him and he's up for making a 1977 Lucky Hand (add-a-ball) version. We need 20 interested buyers to sign up for him to start production.

If you wish to buy one, please PM me your name and email and I'll get a list going. Thanks!

Another Pinsider's just received Jacks Open playfield:

Is there a price estimate yet? Assuming you get the required number of buyers?

Wade estimates it will be around $700 plus shipping.

I can testify that Wade's final product is top notch and far superior to more pricey product produced by some other repro play field suppliers.

I just hope the current wood product shortage doesn't hammer this one.

A list of names has been started. Who else wants in on a beautiful new Lucky Hand playfield?

I wish I could throw in on your campaign, but my game has a very nice original playfield.

Ron Webb has printed two batches of the backglass in the last ten years, and a third batch is coming soon. So there is definitely demand for this title. Good luck!

Not a title with many horribly worn examples.
Would much rather see "Free Fall" done.

Sooo ... put you down for two then Joe?

"Free Fall"? Yeah. I'd take two!

I've seen my share of "Lucky Hand" machines (being in add-a-ball land), and I can't say I've seen any with really worn playfields. I'm sure there are some out there though.
Strangely, it seems that many of them occur, or have come through Connecticut.
There must have been a major distributor there who saw the SS train coming, and was blowing them out.
"Free Fall", on the other hand, is rarely found with a good playfield (or backglass, or cabinet for that matter!). Rare to see a good all-around copy, but they almost always have a worn or planked playfield.

I doubt that you'll get enough takers, but I'd be in for one.

Yea,
I went back and looked at mine. Paint is great. Only issue are cupped inserts. Still thinking on it. Wish there was a good way to fix the original inserts

Yes. That, I've seen.

No cupped inserts on a beautiful new Wade Krase repro playfield. Silky smooth ball rolling action!

Soooooo nice!
