1975 Gottlieb Fast Draw 4-player machine

Player 1 10K reel won't reset to zero, but it will score; this reel seems to be the last in the reset chain

All other reels reset to zero OK

If I manually reset the Player 1 10K reel to zero, the game will start up normally

Thanks, I am not the best for EM games

OK, I sort of understand that schematic, but I have no idea how to actually test this in the machine.

Can you be more specific, or step-by-step?

    Thanks,

Step 1: Read the links I provided
Step 2: Ask any specific questions that reading brings up for you

OK, I've narrowed this down to misadjusted switches on the Z1 relay; I will try fixing that.

    In case this is helpful

For a switch to work 3 things are necessary
    1) When open, there should be a small space between the contact points (duh)
    2) When closing, the long blade's contact point should push the short blade's contact point enough to move the short blade
    3) The contact points should be clean, which they usually will be if #2 is happening

OK, after spending a mind-destroying amount of time carefully adjusting the switches on both Z1 and Z1 so they open and close correctly, the reels all reset properly.

The throw of the relay is so short, and the adjustments are extremely tedious.

I also found 2 switch blades that were in the wrong slots.

    Thanks
