Big Indian won't stop counting the bonus and it won't end a ball and kick out the next.

Please see videos.

Any help over email, messaging, forum or phone would be appreciated.

I know there are other issues such as chime box not working right and some switches aren't registering BUT I can fix that stuff later. I'm more concerned with getting the game playable right now.

Quoted from cody_chunn:

The switch that stops the motor is the Bounce Tilt. It's a slam tilt switch, it's doing it's job.
Note when you started your game you had like 15K bonus still lit, so your bonus unit is indeed not decrementing. Look at the stepper unit mounted to the bottom of the playfield.

ok thank u

I know almost zero about EMs. Do you mean the stepper unit in the head or in the cabinet? When you say "look at it"... what am I looking for? thanks

Quoted from alveolus:

The stepper is mounted underneath the playfield, I believe. There should be two coils, one that steps up and one that steps down. When the game is trying to countdown the bonus see what the stepper is doing, whether the coil is firing, etc. I assume that it’s not, and if that is the case is a mechanical issue with the coil or is it just not getting current.

You and Cody were exactly right. thank you.

I did a little you tube searching and found this.

Then, I found a coil piece missing from one of the bonus unit stepper coils. It was on the bottom of the cabinet. The clip had fallen off and the "arm" fell out of the coil years ago, rendering the game unplayable. Simple fix if you know what to look for!

You and Cody saved me a $100 - $150 service call from the local pinball technician. Thanks again guys!
