WOW That looks great!!
I know I'll never get to that detail of work, but it's interesting to read all the improvements you are making. It's really a fun fast game, isn't it?!

Quoted from EM-PINMAN:

Mine is super fast as all Slingshots and Kickout Holes have been cleaned adjusted and all new nylon sleeves installed.

"new nylon sleeves installed" - do you mean the black plunger things inside the coils? you did this to ALL your coils on the machine, or just the slingshots & kickout holes?

Beautiful!!
Wanna come over & do mine now??

Just kidding, of course!
Your detailed thread w/photos will be a great help to me in the future, I'm sure!

I have found that Magic Eraser takes off some paint if you use it on plastics, like the pop bumpers. (so I don't do that anymore; I use Novus 2 for plastics.) But I have had no trouble using it on the paint directly on the playfield. The only thing I don't like about it is that it tends to shred and so you'll be picking up little bits of sponge as you go along...

The Plunger rod slides against this inside the coil.

AHHHHH!
It finally makes sense to me! I thought the sleeve and coil were one part, as mine are stuck together! Now it looks like I need a whole new knocker assembly, and not just the plunger w/nylon tip. (Thanks to Pafasa for the Pinball 101 lesson! )

Really? Hmmm might need a how-to video on this one...I may not have the correct tools & I'm picturing that it needs at least three hands..
