I've been cleaning up my Playball, and I've somehow created a new problem. Whenever the run relay F is tripped, the game resets to ball one and the scores reset to zero. My first thought was a tilt of some kind, but the game doesn't lockup and the tilt light doesn't come on.

I'm thinking it might be a switch adjustment on the score motor somewhere, but am hoping someone has seen something similar and can help point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Yes it sure does, you hit the right flipper button and the ball is launched.

Solved my problem - found a nut on top of the jones plug in the backbox - when the bell would ring indicating a run had scored, it would vibrate the backbox just enough to cause the nut to short against to different contacts on top of the jones plug.

Thanks for your help hellodeadcity and dirtflipper. I found the offending nut while running through your suggestions.

I had been rebuilding the stepper switches, I'm pretty sure the bolt came from the coil assembly that attaches to the stepper. I remember dropping a few and searching for them in the cabinent thinking they had laneded there, never thought about the havok a bold could create if it's sitting on top of a jones plug!
