Hi folks

The bonus advance rollovers, targets and mushrooms advance the bonus properly but most of the time the bell does not ring.

The pop bumpers and out lanes do not ring the bell

The bell(s) work on all other operations (collect bonus, cushions)

Any ideas

Thanks Mark G, the plug did the trick!

Next question, shouldn't the orange up-post drop down after each ball and at the end of the game?

I see 2 up post relays the coil on one looks very black/burnt

The ball index relay does move when I score the first points but does not reset upon drain, if I manually move it back the post drops.

The 6c switch (lower set of contacts) is open

The out hole relay switch has 6 contacts, not sure which ones should be open or closed.

Here are pics when the game is on and post up.

Please remember Mark, I'm new to this.

Now, the 3rd switch(set of contacts) is closed, 6c is calculated from the center of the wheel, I did it backwards.

On the Outhole relay (3rd one from the left in the pic) one switch (the 3rd one from the right) is closed, but the double yellow wire goes to the tab as well as to a bridge wire connected to 2 other switches, is that right or do I have the wrong switch?

See attached.

Ok, on the relay when non energized, from left to right, 1,2,3 are open, 4,5 are closed, 6 connected to the right contact.
When energized 1,2,3 closed, 4,5 open, 6 connects to the left contact.
See first pic.

On the wheel, all 4 contacts close on the high point, open off the cam.

On contact 4 there are 2 orange wires going to one tab and 2 yellow to the other tab, the yellow wires besides being soldered to the tab also are soldered to anther wire that goes to another contact, is that right?

See 2nd pic.

I put paper on both switches armature is now dead, I blocked each switch separately and the armature was live on each one.

Here's a schematic.

Let me go over the symptoms again.

When the ball is in play the lane and mushroom buttons raise the post fine, the down buttons drop it properly, everything OK on this.

If the post is up at the end of the game, it will not drop down.

At the start of the next game it is still up.

It does not drop down after balls 1-4.

If it is down after game ends, it will pop back up.

Hi MarkG

Any other ideas, have I driven you crazy yet?

Sorry MarkG, didn't mean to rush you.

I think you are right about the post going up at the end of the game, I'm researching that, see pic.

When the ball drains, does the Outhole relay fire and the Score Motor turn? YES

Index relay, however does not release when ball drains.

I can move it back manually and post drops which brings us back those two switches which seem to be working fine.

Is it possible that's the way the game works or is there another circuit that controls it?

Wait until I hear back from some other Sea Ray owners I've contacted

Thanks, Ron

Hi MarkG

Here's the latest, if the game is operating properly the post DOES pop up at the end of game and will drop between balls 1-4 and when tilted.

On my game the post does drop when a tilt occurs, but not in between balls 1-4.
