Had to be completely sanded off and the numbers, letters and lines are super thin so it was hard to paint them.

Them lines do look pretty thin. But you did a nice job they look great.
Very cool restore thread. You've got some mean talent to repaint those plates so perfectly. That's one sweet looking machine!
how did you find a dome for this? Seems like something nobody would have ever, and doesn't seem like something you could have made.
