View from the back door.
Eight Track player is going to be fun.
Ya gotta love finding those clipped wires and paper shims. Usually they make sense later but at first your always scratching your head and thinking WTF>.
Yeah the coin box is HUGE get it out on location today and you will make a killing. It is just so different.
Pacman...can you feel my envy radiating from across the country?
Soooo cool, if I ever make it out to San Diego I'm gonna creep on ya and beg for an invite to see some of these games. Nothing like that around these parts ever come up for sale.
Now following four of your threads, you better get to work
I'm willing to bet that the cut wires on the coin door if you will are for a coin counter.
Last time I was at the Pacific Pinball Museum in Alameda they had a working one. It was at least 6 months ago. Going on Saturday, I'll check. They might be able to help answer some of your questions. I'll report back afterwards.
I must of dreamt it, since the museum says they have never had one. One of these days it will come back to me and by then you will have it done. How about Randy Peck in Long Beach? He has a number of unusual games.
Sorry guys, I'm doing a pretty gnarly remodel on my house. Walls, floor, Windows, bathrooms, cabinets, fixtures, stucco, landscaping... It's kept me busy non stop so I had to put the games aside for awhile. Should be back in business in a couple months.
Vacuum is pretty dang clean.
The round mechanism between all the hoses has a flap inside that roates left and right switching the air from (SUCK) to (BLOW).
The game play timer is pretty cool. The coil pulls a stepped gear thingy which ticks down until time runs out. I'll shoot video of it in action.
Figured out how the elephant trunk works. Its got a cable attached to the inside tip of the trunk that gets pulled by the control handles making the trunk curl or straighten.
Underside has some nasty corrosion So not only is a pain to get to it will be a huge pain cleaning it up.
The acrylic DOME is pretty trashed. Scratches, scuffs, cracks and chips.
So a NEW DOME is on the way.
