This one is going to be a challenge. Bought as-is not working and in decent shape (from a distance anyway).

    From PINREPAIR's site.

Description: 1970 Sega Jumbo arcade game. Pick up the ball with the Elephant's trunk (suction), then point the trunk towards the ceiling. A blower motor kicks in to elevate the ball above the trunk, with a moving metal habitrail in front of the trunk. Time and release the ball, and it falls through the habitrail (hopefully) into a scoring hole around the parameter of Jumbo. Ball rolls back to the elephant to try again. Eletronic circus music via an 8-track player.

Wow, never seen anything like it! I'm sure it's going to be another interesting project.

Cabinet is in pretty nice shape so i'll be keeping it original. Trying to fix the damage will be tricky. Its formica with screen printed semi translucent reds and blues, then varnished.

That is the coolest damn thing! Very nice pick up, and best of luck getting it working!

    Thanks! I'll need it

Metal is in great shape, a bit of rust but thats easy. The instruction plate embossed letters and graphics will be repainted.

These metal plates are so cool. Apparently there were 2 different versions, this one awards a FREE GAME and the other variety dispenses a prize. This one has wires for a prize counter but they don't go anywhere.

Wow! That game is so unique and cool. Looks pretty hard too. Not only do you have to get it into the platform, you have to time it just right so that it also goes into one of the lower crowd holes. Pretty cool.

Best of luck with the restoration.

    #30 2 years ago

Not sure what this is, looks like a sticker but won't know until i start cleaning it up.

Flags are faded so i'll make new ones.

Metal platform is missing one flag so i'll need to make one for there as well.

Dome is pretty scratched up and cracked at the base. I'll order a new acrylic one from this place:

That's awesome, I would have thought that the dome would be the hardest part to find.

Here is where the wires use to go - off into the harness somewhere. Will have to trace it back and see where the rabbit takes us.
