I can't say for sure, but it sounds like an issue I had with my 72' Gottlieb Grand Slam. The score reset complete relay was stuck in the on postion. Not sure if your pin has that, but look there and check the switches on that relay. Mine was touching causing the score reset relay to just keep spinning.
