Williams, 1965Hi Folks, I know that nobody has done this before, but I dove in to rebuild my Ball Count Unit without doing great photos of it before...
Its back together now, and only rotating through 4 balls... Is there an adjustment procedure, or sequence? Or did I put something on Backwards--DOH!
At least it rotates now!
Photos are "before's" just for reference.
Here are a bunch of pix and hopefully you can find the correct one to compare it to. Is there anything else odd besides only playing 4 balls? Oh, do you have anything like a long leaf that's under or over a pin, and it should be the opposite?
Well, thanks CurrieDog, I actually loosened the 4 screws and rotated the contact mechanism... works flawlessly now. Apparently there was just enough room to make fine tune adjustments this way. Now I just have to tear down and rebuild those 4 score reels... then we'll be back in business! I scored an impressively clean machine with this one.
