Quoted from jrpinball:

They break off if you're not careful when tipping trip bank assembly back and the balls are down.

Yup. Before tipping the Bank back, it's always best to reset it (manually if needed).
I've gotten them in already broken, but I haven't broken any myself, but it wouldn't
surprise me when they break, many fling and end up on the floor..

Is there anyone around remaking the pool ball plastics?

I have a couple extra blank F.P./B.a.B balls, so I haven't tried it, but I have no
reason to believe it wouldn't work.
If you'd like to grind the backside of one of these full circular balls down, and then
epoxy, you're welcome to have one for the price of shipping. They are pretty much
exact in diameter, and I can also send the number that you can apply afterwards that
more resembles the original..

Anyone notice anything about Bank-a-Ball/Flipper Pool's backglass that maybe
may be a little questionable?

Quoted from jrpinball:

One couple is dancing like it's rock and roll, and the other couple is slow dancing.

Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding.. The Knowledgeable Master of Vintage Pinball Machines got it..
Yup. Without seeming odd, what song from the mid-60s era (or 50s) can be both fast and slow
danced to? For me, not any come to mind (at least not from the exact same portion of the song)..

What's odd about the total art package on Gottlieb''s "Show Boat"?

Total meaning including the playfield?
The backglass I haven't noticed anything. The playfield, the Guys are dressed as if
it's in the 50s, the Ladies as if it's in the 80s, but referring it as the total package,
I'd say that's not the correct answer..
I never had that game. Perhaps someone who has/had one may have a better guess..

Quoted from Pookiegus:

I have several problems with the machine and hope someone here can help me resolve them.

It sounds like most of the problems you're having is in the Pool Ball Bank.
You'll want to inspect the cap on those Realy switches.
For example, when you hit the #9 and the light doesn't go out is because most
likely when the #9 Relay is energized, a switch isn't opening to break the #9
light socket's circuit that should be. I'll have to look to make sure, but I believe
there's a series of switches (one in each Pool Ball Relay) that close when the
Relays trip (energize), When all Pool Ball Relays are tripped (made) it completes
the circuit to reset the Bank. It could be a couple other things besides a switch(s)
in one of the Relay(s), but it's always a good idea to inspect the gap in those switches
anyways (and some switches may need light cleaning. I use a point file)
NOTE: Before Opening The Pool Balls' Relay Bank, Always Manually Reset The
Bank So All The Pool Balls Are Reset. Not Any Are Down. This prevents Them from
breaking..
btw: You sometimes get free balls on your 1st ball. There's an adjustment (I believe
on the bottom board) that can be set for a free ball after so many balls are hit (made).
I think my machine is set so hitting 8, 11, 14, and 15 each scores a free ball.

Quoted from Pookiegus:

Now I just have to figure out how to align it properly

I would loosen the allen screw, then turn it a little clockwise, tighten, then loosen the 3
screws and align properly by turning it counter-clockwise, tighten 3 screws, and you're
good to go..
Sorry about thinking the pool ball relays were in series to reset the Bank. I think it was
13 years ago I went through the Flipper Pool..

Quoted from Pookiegus:

Now I just have to figure out why the score bells aren't ringing when I hit ball #6

That's strange. So the bells aren't ringing on #6 when scoring 50 points, the 100 points (when Mystery Score is lit),
or both, yet the points are scoring okay? Does the bells ring okay when hitting the #14 Rollover?
