Good effort. Have you tried or considered Oxalic Acid to adjust the darker areas of natural wood? Might be helpful in the flipper area...

I'm restoring a 1963 Sweet Hearts in similar condition, but taking an all together different approach to PF repair. Full laminate replacement.
