Quoted from bretthalsey:

We tried this morning and it didn’t change anything. Thanks for taking the time to help though.

It must have done something, as it changes the stop point of the men on the bases although it is a small amount and possibly not enough.

Has the running man motor been replaced? Has the cams been removed from the motor recently?

Quoted from bretthalsey:

The motor has definitely been opened before. I ended up buying a nos one off eBay but the shaft was in the wrong position, so we stuck this one back in.

The cams are positioned on the gearbox double shaft by a spring pin. On the other end the running man cross is positioned with another spring pin (end with the rounded shaft).

The two shaft holes that secure the cam and RM cross relationship is critical to the accuracy of the men being exactly on base and there is no adjustment once the shaft is drilled.

I have found two NOS gearbox/motors and the shaft was not drilled on either. Some games the men are a little off and as long as they are operating as they should you don’t notice when playing.

I think you have what you have now.

Regards Steve
