Hello all,

I recently received an Aloha pinball and am having some issues. Apparently this was used as some sort of basement football lead blocker and didn't work after that. The score counter wasn't resetting and I fixed that by restoring some switch positions. Game now resets to 0s and will play until the first points are scored then will not score anymore or release a second ball. If I manually reset the bank relay, I can score once, again. The 2nd player relay is firing continually firing roughly every second while the game is plugged in.

I've gone through a couple EM troubleshooting guides and am a bit stumped. I don't have any schematics, couldn't find a free resource online, and might buy an original if I can't get help here.

Thanks in advance!

Quoted from Girthquake:

I don't have any schematics,

First thing to do is buy one.

You will need a schematic to be able to play along at home.

If you have any thoughts on not keeping the game, that schematic will help the next owner too. If you order one from Pinball Resource it be full size reproduction.

To generalize your problem 'could' be the Player Unit, it could be physically jammed. It could have a wire fallen off, or a solder connection failure.

Looks like you can order the Aloha schematic on Pinball Resource For $16.50. Can’t guarantee they have one in stock but it’s worth contacting them.

Thanks for your help everybody! I will buy a schematic, stubbornly try myself for 6 hours and come back for help if I need it.
