That one will definitely need to be grinded just to get it out of the bushing. I've seen worse ones, and if you only grind off the actual mushroomed parts at a bevel, it should still be long enough to be useable. Take the whole assembly off in one piece and bring it to the bench grinder. Hold it at like a 30 degree angle against the wheel. Slowly rotate it as you go, and cool the tip frequently in a water bath.
