Guys, I've looked and looked for the type (not necessarily the colors) of paint used on 1960's Gottlieb cabinets. Can't seem to find any documentation. I'm working on a 1960 Kewpie Doll -- the cabinet is in really bad shape--so I'm going to repaint it. The original paint seemed to be almost 'clear coated' it was so slick. Almost like an epoxy style paint (obviously not). Can anyone add to the conversation on how they achieved this 'slick finish'? Iā€™d like to try and replicate the finish as it looked nice. Thanks.

I don't see answers to your specific question, but there is a lot of good info on repainting Gottlieb cabinets on Clay Harrell's website:
