Atlas A2 relay (resized).jpg

Hello pinsiders. Im looking for a photo of the Roto Target assembly(under the playfield). The schematic is very hard to understand and it doesn't show the the wire colors on the roto target circuit board. Somehow the wiring got messed up by the previous owner and there some of the ternminals that have double wires and some single. Everything scores OK and the Gobble holes lights are working fine but I can't get the 400 and 500 lights to illuminate and the schematic is very confusing to read when it comes to the roto target. If someone could upload me a good image of the target assembly wiring I would be very appreciative. Thanks in advance for any help you could give me.

Hi pinsiders. I have been working on a 1959 Gottlieb Atlas and have received welcomed help with a few issues with it. The latest one I have is a question. There are 2 alternating relays(A1 & A2)in the game. Are both these relays both to energize at the same time. I don't have a problem when the 10 times value is lit and the machine scores all of these correctly. My problem is when I hit the upper 2 targets, 10 times values score correctly and the opposite target, with no 10 times lit scores whatever value is on the roto target. I noticed that if I only allow one of the A1 and !2 targets to energize and not the other the problem disappears. If anyone has any ideas how I can solve this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The A1 relay should always fire the A2 relay.

I'd carefully check the two make/break switches in the red box. They help determine the value of the targets.

Thank you Mark for your reply. The drawing of A1 and A2 relays are much easier to see in your (Red box) drawing. I will certainly carefully check the contacts on those 2 relays. Thanks again.
