Very happy to have the honor of adding this one to the collection. Pretty nice, unmolested condition overall. Plastics are toast, so I have a set on order with Shay (and waiting patiently).
But what I thought was neat, and why I wanted to post this, is that I learned that this game has a cooling motor and fan mounted under the playfield. When I was looking at the playfield, I could see all these holes drilled among the plastic pool balls and couldn't figure out why they were there. Then when I finally got the game opened (no key!), I found the fan.
I'm thinking I might opt for LEDs inside those pool balls and disconnect the fan. I can't imagine working on the game with the playfield up and that thing running nearby. But, that's for a later day to worry about.
The other neat thing was that inside there's an envelope from Premier dated 1990 with a blueprint-like copy of the schematic. It was addressed to the previous owner (I think), so he must have written to them at the time (which was still sorta Gottlieb) and requested a copy. Very cool of them to oblige!
I love time capsules like these.
