Proud to present my newly acquired companion machine to the '57 World Champ. This '50 Gottlieb had been on my search list for awhile and very pleased that I was able to get a wonderful example from another collector who restored it several years ago.

Really nice playfield and mechanicals. The back glass is original and has very little flaking. Plays strong and true and I'll be making a little video of it in the not too distant future.

Boxing fans may appreciate that the center artwork on the playfield (5th picture of punch to the face) was "ahead" of its time. Enclosing a picture of the famous "punch" by Rocky Marciano - the knockout of Jersey Joe Walcott on 9/23/52. The pinball machine was made in 1950.

That is an amazing wood rail line-up. Classy and pretty.

I will just crawl up in a ball now and cry. Seriously, very nice machine.

Is it a new repro playfield ?

Picture #7 clearly shows that it is an original playfield. One of the best original ones i have seen.

Thanks all for the kind words. Some of you who know me and are in the area are always welcome to visit.
Dan, Plano is only 1500 miles away. A short hop for an enthusiast...

I'm a lot closer, and I fully intend to visit you someday! I'll bring... beer, or whatever!

I really appreciate all the kind comments and PMs that I received. As some of you already know, I'm always happy to entertain my pinball friends, so if anyone is ever in the area or wants to drop by, let me know.

Cool video, love that cartoon theme music in the second half. Who remembers the Bugs episode it came from? This is blasphemy, but I would want to speed it up with 3" levelers in the back and maybe a bit stronger flippers.

Just looked at the Spring Time video again. Man, that is one cool game

AWESOME VIDEO! Love the music, BTW! Next time I'm thru your state, I'm coming by!

That is a game that I would dump my whole collection to own in that condition.

And that's a lot to say from a guy that has a "Central Park" and a "Slick Chick"!

Rat_Tomago...you have a nice collection of pinballs!
