Was recently gifted a United 10th inning by @trumagoo and have a couple questions. Hoping someone out there has one of these. 1 My score unit seems to be missing a finger but I'm not sure (pic included). I know this is normal on some of my other games where they used the same fingers for different step up units and just nipped the unused ones off.
2. When I start a game the balls empty into the plunge position, I can then plunge each ball and everything scores correctly and the balls return to the drain area. After the third ball drains the flippers are still energized (no switch in the outsole area). I guess my question is, is this normal or is there a way the game would know you've plunged all 3 balls and goes to game over? I've never played one of these before but it's super cool and this one is in magnificent shape.

Also, this is the sleeve for the flupper button. One of my sleeves and flippers are missing. Marcos sells the flipper buttons but I have no idea where to find this outside threaded flared sleeve. Hoping someone has an idea.

This game was always the most beloved one when it appeared at the New England PinFest a couple times in the 1990s. I hope you can get it working 100% and bring it to Pintastic next September. (It will earn lots of Bonus Points for you!)

Thanks David. By any chance do you remember the game play rules? Just trying to figure out how a game ends. I don't see a way to get outs. After the third ball the flippers currently stay energized. Just trying to figure out if this is normal. I will definitely be bringing it to Pintastic and pinfest next year.

almost certainly normal. The games that collected the "drained" balls in a trough above the playfield had no way of detecting when the game was over, so the flippers stayed active forever ... or at least until a game timer ran out.

the button and bushing may have been used on united bingos. Got some dimensions of your parts? If they are the same the pacific pinball museum will have the parts I can send you.

Thank you very much, that would be greatly appreciated. I've been searching endlessly for the sleeve with no success. I did get 2 new buttons from Marcos though. And thanks for the heads up on the game play question. I seem to have it 100% working now with that cleared up.

The sleeves inside diameter is 5/16". The outside flare is 5/8". Thanks again

looks about right. Fortunately, I have a museum bingo parts cabinet at home at the moment, so here's what I swiped off it. You just need one?

I'll send the entire thing so all ya gotta do is clean it up a little and screw it in ... or swap the button if ya want.

either pm me your mailing address or email it to [email protected]

Thank you so much, yes just one. I sent you an email with my info.

Greatly appreciated, I would have hated to modify it with regular flipper buttons or something not correct. This is my 4th united game in my collection and it's the oldest and smallest, lol.

I recall it playing that way. Many pinballs of that era had no way to track how many balls had been played, so it would not be surprising for this game to be the same.
