There is a $50 obo non-working Flying Trapeze 5 hours away that may be missing parts but the seller is going to text me better and more photos of it.

I've looked at it on IPDB and done a web search. Pinside search returned 0 results. There seems to be little information about this game online.

It looks like the backglass has trapeze figures that light up during the game.

Do any of you know more about this game?

    Thanks in advance,
    Bruce

Pre-flipper title, so not much love for it among collectors. However, the legs and lockdown bar would be suitable for use on flipper woodrails, so definitely worth $50 for those parts alone (if present and in good shape).

I thought about posting this in the non flipper thread here.

The seller said one leg is missing and the lock bar is missing from the photo. I'll find out more when they text me some photos.

I have a Gottlieb Flying Trapeze in my collection of curve tops. They use the same playfield layout on an earlier game called Maisie ( I own that one too. ☺ ).

That's significant then, even as a pre-flipper. Humpy Dumpty was the next pin on the line then. I have the last Gtb with bulb scoring, Dancing Dolls, and think that is pretty cool too. Both of these pins signaled an end of an 'era' in pinball.

Yup, I saw that too. May be worth getting this game for that reason too.

Would love to see photos of it!

All four legs and inside parts are there.

The cab front is broken off and the BG shot.

I'm waiting to find out if the lockdown bar, backbox/coin doors and bumper caps are there too.

The seller says it's all there.

Will most likely pick it up this Friday.

It was sold. Hope the buyer makes good use of the game.

I wasn't looking forward to the long drive but would have done it to make sure something good was done with that game.

Looks like it would be a lot of time and a lot of $ to get that one right. I think things happen for a reason. The next one is yours

That too. And driving 10 hours in one day isn't very appealing to me.

There was a Gottlieb Auto Race available a couple of months ago. It was 3 hour drive from my place. I sent an Email, gave the guy a fair price as it did need some parts. It did not go through, he must of sold it to some one else. Stuff happens, keep searching if you are looking for a wood rail they do turn up.

I have two woodrails so I'm not really searching for one but saw that one and felt it should go to a good home because there seem to be so few of them from what I can see.

I do like woodrails though. Would buy a nice one if it was in my area and the price was right.
