It's interesting to compare this to Bally Fleet Sr. (http://ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=881) and Fleet Jr.(http://ipdb.org/machine.cgi?gid=880), also from 1934. I think Fleet Sr. was the first game to use a solenoid to fire a ball up the playfield (or something like that). This game apparently came out between the two versions of Fleet.
