    Hello all,

I have come across a 1933 Gottlieb Speedway trade stimulator/pinball game. I have researched the net and found nothing on it's value. I don't know if it's worth $50 or $5000. Can someone steer me in the right direction? Everything seems to be intact but needs to be cleaned up to work properly. Some wire guides are bent up, scrapes here and there, missing the playfield glass but overall looks like a pretty easy restoration. The cars all move with a little help. The upper playfield is missing several guides as seen in the picture. Any advise on this would be appreciated. It's a friend's mom who has it so I want to pay a fair price.

I don't know what it's worth but it sure looks neat.

It is pretty neat Alex. It has a shooter and when the ball goes in the hole next to the car it moves a slot forward. If you land it in the "skill hole" it moves all the cars forward. The little dish at the bottom of the playfield holds a ball on a pedestal. You would only get paid if the ball was on the pedestal when finished (stops tilting). It's a pretty neat set up.

Play pinball and gamble on an auto race at the same time!

Looks like this machine books between 600-1800 depending on condition. This would be at the lower range based on the pics you posted. Most wood rails don't seem to command this much, but this is an exception to the rule, unique design.
